REVELATION INVITES YOU ON AN INTIMATE JOURNEY BETWEEN TWO WORLDS — THE POETIC AND THE REAL, THE MYTHICAL AND THE HUMAN. DIRECTED BY VLADYSLAV DETIUCHENKO AND VERONIKA RAKITINA, THIS NEW DANCE PROGRAM UNFOLDS AS A DEEPLY PERSONAL CONFESSION, REFLECTING INNER EXPERIENCES, DOUBTS, HOPES, AND TRANSFORMATIONS. THE PROGRAM BRINGS TOGETHER EMOTIONAL LANDSCAPES SHAPED BY DREAMS, IMAGINATION, AND REAL MEMORIES, MARKED BY THE EXPERIENCE OF WAR IN THEIR HOMELAND — UKRAINE. AT ITS CENTER IS THE STORY OF TWO ARTISTS, VLADYSLAV AND VERONIKA, WHOSE PERSONAL REALITY RESONATES WITH THE EXPERIENCES OF MANY UKRAINIAN REFUGEES. THESE NARRATIVES INTERTWINE WITH UNIVERSAL THEMES OF LOVE, LOSS, AND HOPE, CREATING A SPACE FOR EMPATHY, REFLECTION, AND INNER TRANSFORMATION. THE MUSIC IS COMPOSED BY TALENTED UKRAINIAN COMPOSERS IVAN HARKUSHA AND YURIY SHEPETA, AND IS ALSO INSPIRED BY THE TIMELESS LEGACY OF FRENCH COMPOSER ERIK SATIE. DON’T MISS THE CHANCE TO BE PART OF THIS UNIQUE ARTISTIC JOURNEY.

Everglow
On February 24, 2022, at five o’clock in the morning, Vladyslav Detiuchenko and Veronika Rakitina were awakened by the unfamiliar sound of explosions. Their phones were flooded with news and calls from family and friends. Leaving their home and stepping into the unknown, with missiles and sirens surrounding them, Vladyslav and Veronika felt the shadow and darkness of a new reality closing in. Everglow is the true story that Vladyslav and Veronika have lived through. Each time they step onto the stage, they relive those very moments—filled with faith, fear of the unknown, support, and the fight for life. War deprives people of the chance to see their loved ones, their families, and their friends. It denies them the warmth of an embrace—placing a wall between them that cannot be crossed. And the war is still not over. Vladyslav and Veronika dedicates this performance to all refugees who were forced to leave their homes and who endured separation from their loved ones, their families, and their homeland.

My orpheus
"My Orpheus" draws inspiration from the grandiose personality of Jean Cocteau, the influential French film director, artist, and writer of the early 20th century. The performance seeks to explore a question that preoccupied Cocteau throughout his life: What is a poet? Perhaps a poet is a creator of new worlds, new lives, and new art—an immortal force whose creations endure through history. Just as Michelangelo’s Pietà, Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, and Pina Bausch’s theater continue to influence and inspire, a poet’s work transcends time. Can humanity itself be seen as a poet? Humanity possesses immense power to create, transform, and destroy, much like a deity. The audience is invited to engage with an abstract narrative that reflects these questions through the language of body and gesture. The performance portrays the poet's quest for creation and understanding, a continual dialogue with oneself, straddling the line between reality and a world of fantasy and illusion.
